Serving the community in whatever way is needed has always been part of our mission. St. Paul Lutheran Church members of all ages are involved in community service in its many forms. Outreach efforts provide benefits to both the giver and receiver. The giver grows in his or her faith while empowering the recipient – not just through material means, but by providing the person with a sense of being loved. Each of us IS the church; when we serve individually, we perform God’s work with our own hands.
You will find many different ways to share your gifts in service to your neighbor here at St. Paul. Whether it is quilting, serving breakfast at the East Bluff Mission, keeping the Free Little Food Pantry stocked, volunteering in the Free Clothing Closet, scrapbooking the history of St Paul, creating a new display for the Story Walk, treats for the Off Leash Dog Park, Visiting Shut-ins, or a whole host of other ministry opportunities. We are sure you will find a meaningful way to put your faith, your gifts, and your talents in action!
