Established in 1963 by Peoria-area Lutheran congregations, this ministry is dedicated to the service of older adults in our community. This ministry offers multiple levels of living and a broad range of services to meet the needs of active, independent seniors, as well as those who need assistance or health care.
Lutheran Hillside Village, a new name for the campus at 7019 N. Galena Road, Peoria, offers five distinct levels of living for seniors - brick duplexes, independent living apartments, assisted living, skilled care nursing and minimal care nursing. As a Christian focused organization LSM has a history of reaching out to older adults who are in financial need by subsidizing their care through its Benevolent fund and Endowment Fund. Services are offered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin.
